Welcome to MindVista, an innovative student-led initiative at McGill University committed to enhancing student wellness and engagement.


What is Mental Wellness?

Mental wellness includes a range of factors that contribute to one's overall well-being. Achieving mental wellness is a journey which requires ongoing effort and attention. This may feel intimidating at first, however, your willingness to improve is the first step! Here is a glimpse of what achieving further mental wellness involves.

Regular Physical Activity

Exercise releases endorphins, enhances sleep quality, and reduces stress. A daily walk, yoga, or gym session can enhance both physical and mental resilience.

Quality Sleep

Restorative sleep is essential for memory, mood regulation, and decision-making. Aim for 7-9 hours per night and establish a consistent bedtime routine.

Professional Support

Therapy or counseling provides practical tools to overcome challenges and encourages personal growth. Seeking professional support is a proactive way to strengthen your mental health.
